Activists renamed billionaire Larry Ellison's yacht to protest his control of TikTok
Activists plastered Larry Ellison's $160 million megayacht with "The Trump Propagandist" in giant gold letters.
Their message: one billionaire is buying up too much of American media.
Ellison is central to TikTok's US takeover, owns CBS News, and is eyeing Warner Bros. and CNN.

Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, faces revived sexual abuse lawsuit filed by his sister.
Annie Altman has filed an amended complaint alleging Altman sexually abused her repeatedly between 1997 and 2006, starting when she was 3 years old.
Sam Altman has denied the allegations and previously called the lawsuit extortion.

Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth is blocking military promotions based on race and gender.
Officials say Secretary of Defense Hegseth has intervened to block or delay promotions for Black and female senior Army officers with exemplary records.
The Army Chief of Staff personally tried to meet with Hegseth to discuss it, and was refused. He was later forced to resign.

Healthcare workers for Kaiser Permanente strike over AI tools in patient care
Mental healthcare workers, nurses, engineers, and others in northern California went on strike to protest the company pushing AI tools that reduce resources for patients and undermine care.
AI facial recognition tech is being used to deny food to pregnant women in India.
Since 2025, pregnant women must pass a facial recognition scan to receive food rations.
But the system matches their current faces to years-old ID photos, and pregnancy often changes their faces.
Nearly half of eligible recipients have been locked out of receiving food and other aid they’re legally entitled to.
